Organize smart working with style
The home environment is still our primary living space. Today more than ever we feel the need for these spaces to suit us, to make us feel good.
Many of us have had to repurpose the environments into workplaces to carry out smart working activities. The importance of good organization of spaces It's back, making itself felt. Because while it's true that it's difficult to always be "tidy," you can try to be "organized." And sometimes organization is a matter of small things. Small, but done with style.
Surely you already know how much the productivity is tied to the organization of space. This applies equally to the warehouse of a large company as it does to your home desk.
Lots of small items needed for organizing your work: paperweights, pens, pencils, erasers, tape. Honestly, how much time do you spend looking for the eraser when you need it? How many times do you lose the pen cap in a day? These are certainly small "problems," but they can be solved with style!
And you, how do you organize your desk?
DESK ORGANIZER
The example we bring you today is ours designer organizer Everyday Box . An essential object in its simplicity, even its conceptual one. A box, like those cardboard boxes where we used to store knick-knacks, but today defined by design, made of metal, and featuring a hygienic, easily cleanable surface. The Everyday Box is oval in shape, with internal dividers defining the space into one large compartment and two smaller ones on one side.
A wooden handle completes the piece, allowing for easy transportation. Furthermore, since the handle is removable , it can also be used as a ribbon holder. A perfect Nordic-style object.
Here's how Camilla describes the Everyday Box: “I wanted to create a box for everyday life that could be transported and used in every room: from the desk to the kitchen, passing through the bathroom (it's perfect for organizing cosmetics, products, brushes, paintbrushes)… maybe I should have called it Everywhere Box because you can really carry it anywhere thanks to the wooden handle (which also doubles as a “washi tape” holder).”
Given its versatility, Everyday Box can find its role in every room : this is what you need to keep everything under control, perhaps by collecting colors.

THE STORY OF EVERYDAY BOX
We wanted the design-loving community to choose the designer gift that would define Christmas 2019. So we made several suggestions. The first was the choice of category. More than 600 voters voted, and the winning categories were "organizer" and "lamp."
Camilla Corradi immediately got to work to design an organizer with the minimal/Nordic style that characterizes it. Among the projects was this sketch:
With more than 850 voters It was this organizer that was chosen to be put into production. The most voted name was “Everyday Box” and the chosen color is a "terracotta" red. We immediately got to work in the workshop to create a prototype.
Exactly! Because up until that point, only the sketch Camilla had drawn existed. When we have to create an object for the first time, we sit down at the desk with a our designer and we draw the piece with a graphics program.
At that point, with the project printed, we go in the workshop from one of our craftsmen who is particularly suited to dealing with prototypes: he always manages to understand the best way to make it and what modifications will be necessary!
In the case of Everyday Box involves cutting two steel sheets with a laser, leaving perfectly finished edges. Then, one sheet is folded over itself to recreate an oval. Then all the pieces are welded and put together, including the internal dividers. Everything strictly by hand .
Then it is painted, as you can see from the pictures above.
We produced them in limited editions, only the exact number of those purchased in pre-order. But after a few weeks, we started receiving the first requests to bring them back into production. So, it recently became a permanent fixture in Hiro's store. For now, it comes in three colors: white, gray, and red.
And you, where would you use it?
