When decorating the living room, one of the areas you'll come across is the TV wall. The living room is, in fact, one of the most used areas of the house, and where, consequently, so many objects pile up: your favorite CD collection, those books you've been meaning to read, the tablecloths your mother gave you.
A roomy, storage-friendly piece of furniture is a necessity for many of us. But when it comes to designing a room, you're faced with questions like: which piece of furniture should I choose? Low or tall? Where should I place the TV? Is it better to use shelves or a bookcase? There are many questions, and some compromises are necessary.
To clarify and answer these questions, you first need to identify the type of furniture and the solution best suited to you and your living room. Here are three ideas we've identified for decorating a corner of your living room , particularly the TV wall, which adapt to different furnishing styles and tastes:
1. Equipped wall
It can hold a lot of things and is roomy , especially if custom-made. But there are some drawbacks : it often appears cold , lacking in personality, and cheap. To overcome this problem, you can create a mix: for example, a lower storage area, a wall decorated with wooden slats, and a few contrasting shelves or wall units. It's not our favorite solution, but with the right attention, it can be effective.
2. Low cabinet
A low cabinet is perfect for the TV and also allows you to store various objects inside. It's undoubtedly our favorite solution (and that's why we created Urbana )! In fact, low living room furniture is generally versatile, not overly large in size, so it can fit even the smallest living spaces. A TV cabinet also allows you to indulge in styling by decorating it with a vase of flowers, a tray with a few candles, framed photos, a small plant, and other details that make all the difference. And
3. Hanging TV and bookcase
Another modern solution for decorating the TV wall is to hang the TV on the wall to save space and then decorate it with a bookcase (even a low one) or shelves . This solution is the lightest visually and is suitable for even the smallest spaces because it allows for the use of vertical space.
